Ang Ilang Pag-uugali ng Islam sa [Panahon ng] Digmaan:

1. Ang pag-uutos na maging makatarungan at maging makatuwiran sa mga kaaway, at ang pagbabawal sa mga gawaing paniniil at pag-aabuso sa kanila: Batay sa sinabi ng Kataas-taasang Allah: {At huwag hayaan na ang inyong poot sa ibang tao ay maghatid sa inyo upang kayo ay maging di-makatarungan. Maging makatarungan kayo; ito ang pinakamalapit sa kabanalan}. Al-Maidah (5): 8.

Ang Mga Kahigtan (o Katangian) ng Kagandahang-asal (at pag-uugali) sa Islam

Ang Mga Katangian ng Pag-uugali na Matatagpuan Lamang sa Relihiyong Islam at ang Ilan ay:

1. Ang magandang ugali ay hindi natatangi sa isang uri ng mga tao.

Sapagka’t nilikha ng Allah ang mga tao sa iba’t ibang anyo at kulay, wika, nguni’t sa Timbangan ng Allah, Kanyang itinakda na sila ay magkakapantay-pantay, hindi nakalalamang ang isa sa kanila mula sa iba maliban sa sukat ng kanyang Eeman [paniniwala], antas ng Taqwa [o takot sa Allah] at pagkamatuwid. Batay sa sinabi ng Makapangyarihan at Kataas-taasang Allah:

Ang Katayuan ng Kagandahang-asal (at Pag-uugali) sa Islam

1]. Katotohanan ito ang Pinakamahalaga sa Mga Layunin ng Pagsugo kay Propeta Muhammad ﷺ para sa sangkatauhan:

Ang Kataas-taasang Allah ay nagsabi:

{Siya na nagsugo sa [gitna ng] mga hindi nag-aral ng isang sugong nagmula sa kanilang [lahi] binibigkas sa kanila ang Kanyang ayaat [mga kapahayagan], at sila ay dinadalisay [mula sa kawalang-paniniwala], at sila ay tinuturuan ng Aklat [ang Qur’an] at ng karunungan [ang Sunnah]. At bagaman sila noon ay nasa [dating] hayag na kamalian}. Surah Al-Jumu`ah:

Question:

What is permissible for the husband with his wife after making Aqd Al-Qirn and before setting up house with her?

Answer:

Everything which is permissible for a husband who has moved in with his wife is permissible for him, including looking, kissing, being alone with her, travelling with her, sexual intercourse etc. And may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet, Muhammad and upon his family and Companions.

THERE IS NO SIN UPON YOU

Question:

We had birds that we kept in a cage; daily, we would feed them, give them drink, and release them in the morning so they can cool themselves in the air. One day, however, we forgot to release them, and the sunheat affected them, resulting in their death. We regret having kept them in cages; please advise us, do we have to make any atonement?

Answer:

If the situation is as you have described, there is no sin upon you, for Allaah Almighty says: Our Lord! Punish us not if we forget or fall into error. [1] In an authentic Hadith, Allaahs Messenger related that Allaah Almighty responded to the invocation in this verse by saying, I have done so. [2] This was recorded by Muslim in his Sahih, and it shows that Allaah Almighty answers the supplication of his believing worshipers. And with Allaah is the facilitation to do what is right.

THERE IS NO HARM IN HUMOR, AS LONG AS WHAT YOU SAY IS TRUE

Question:

As long as we are not mocking the religion, are we permitted in Islam to make jokes?

Answer:

As long as you are truthful in your humor, and as long as you do not go to excesses, humor, witticisms, and jokes are permitted in Islam. The Messenger of Allaah showed humor, but he would only speak the truth. But if you lie when you make a joke, remember this Hadith: Woe to him who tells lies so that others may laugh ...woe to him, and again woe to him. [1] And with Allaah is the facilitation to do what is right.

THE RULING ON WRITING BISMILLAH ON INVITATION CARDS

Question:

What is the ruling on writing Bismillah on wedding invitation cards, bearing in mind that they will be thrown in the streets or in waste paper baskets?
Answer:

Writing Bismillah on cards and other messages is allowed, based upon the narration from the Prophet in which he said: Any important matter which does not start with Bismillah is a matter which is cut of (from every good thing). [1] ý and because he used to begin his letters with the Tasmiyyah. It is not permissible for one who receives a card or letter in which Allaahs Name, or a Quranic Verse is mentioned to throw it in the rubbish or refuse, or to put it in an undesirable place.

Likewise, it is not permissible to abuse newspapers and other such things, or throw them in the rubbish, nor to use them as eating mats for food, nor as wrappers for things due to the fact that they contain mention of Allaahs Name, the Almighty, the All-Powerful and because doing that involves sin. As for the writer, there is no sin upon him. May Allaah grant the Muslims success in attaining all goodness.

MASTURBATION IS FORBIDDEN

Question:

Is masturbation unlawful?

Answer:

What is correct among the sayings of the scholars is that masturbation is unlawful. Allaah Almighty says: And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts). Except from their wives or (the slaves) that their right hands possess, - for then, they are free from blame; But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors. [1]

Here, Allaah Almighty praised those who satisfy their lust with only their wives or (lawful) slaves; He Almighty also ruled that those who seek other means of satisfying their lusts are transgressors.

LISTENING TO THE RADIO

Question:

Is it permitted in Islam to listen to those programs on the radio that do not consist of or contain messages or sounds that are forbidden?

Answer:

There is no harm in listening to programs that air the recitation of the Quraan, sayings of the Allaahs Messenger, or news. In the same way, there is no harm in listening to audio-cassettes of the Noble Quraan, beneficial Hadiths, and religious advice. I especially advise you to listen to the Quraan radio station that Al-Quraan and to the program Nur Ala Ad-Darb, which consists of very beneficial content.
