SAYING SADAQ ALLAAHUL ‘ADHEEM AFTER FINISHING RECITATION OF THE QURAAN
Question:
What is the ruling upon the statement sadaq Allaahul ‘Adheem (Allaah, the Magnificent, has spoken the Truth) after finishing recitation of the Quraan?
Answer:
The statement sadaq Allaahul ‘Adheem after ending recitation of the Quraan is a bid’a (innovation) because the Prophet sal Allaahu alaiyhi wa sallam did not do it, nor the Rightly Guided Caliphs, nor the rest of the Companions radiy Allaahu ‘anhum – nor the scholars of the salaf rahimahumallaah – despite their abundance in reciting the Quraan, and their carefulness and their knowledge of its greatness.
So saying this (statement) and adhering to it at the end of the recitation is a newly invented innovation, and indeed it is established from the Prophet sal Allaahu alaiyhi wa sallam that he said:
Whoever brings something new into this affair of ours which is not from it, then it will be rejected. Reported by Bukhaari and Muslim.
And he said: Whoever does an action which is not from our affair then it will be rejected. Reported by Muslim.
And with Allaah is the tawfeeq. And may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.

STOPPING RECITATION IN ORDER TO RETURN THE SALAAM
Question:
Is it permissible when a person is reciting the Quraan and a man passes by, and he returns the salaam to him (ie after the man gives salaam to the reciter) - is it permissible to cease the recitation, and interrupt the recitation and return the salaam?
Answer:
He returns the salaam upon the one who gave him salaam, then he returns to the recitation, (thereby) combining the two virtuous acts.
And with Allaah is the tawfeeq. And may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.

THE RULING CONCERNING THE PAPERS THAT CONTAIN THE NAME OF ALLAH
Question:
We find that some of the verses of the Qur’an printed in the newspaper or writings, as well as, ''In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, The Merciful,” [1] at the beginning of some papers and letters. What do we do with such verses after we are finished reading the newspaper or letter? Should we tear it up or burn it or what should be done?
Answer:
It is a must, after one is done with the papers or pages that contain Allah’s Name, to safeguard the papers, by burning them or burying them in clean soil. This is to protect the Qur’anic verses and Allah’s Names from being degraded. It is not allowed to throw them in the garbage heaps or into the streets or to use them as different kinds of sheets, such as tablecloths. Otherwise, one is degrading the names and verses and not safekeeping them.

RECITING THE QURAAN WHILST NOT SITTING DOWN
Question:
Is recitation of the Noble Quraan permissible for the one who is lying down or standing or walking?
Answer:
This is permissible, because the asl (basis) is: permissibility. There is not to be found any evidence to prove the forbiddance of this.
And in accordance with the generality of the statement of Allaah in the description of the People of Understanding:
Those who remember Allaah standing, sitting and lying on their sides.
Surah Aale ‘Imraan (3) aayah 191
And recitation of the Quraan is from remembrance.
And with Allaah is the tawfeeq. And may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.

READING THE QUR'AAN IN THE MASJID OVER THE MICROPHONE
Question:
Where we are (in our location) prior to the performance of the fajr prayer the noble qur'aan is recited, then different supplications are recited, then the adhaan is called. Is this from the Sunnah or not. And what is the ruling concerning that.
Answer:
To continue constantly upon that which has been mentioned from reciting the Noble Qur'aan, then some supplications before the adhaan of the Fajr prayer is not from the Sunnah rather it is an innovation.
And success is with Allah, and may peace and prayers be upon the Prophet Muhammad and upon his family and his household.
