HANGING UP VERSES OF THE QUR'AN ON THE OFFICE WALL


Question:

Is it permissible to hang up certain verses of the Qur'an on the office wall? And is it true that the ruling in this issue is the same as that for hanging up pictures?


Answer:

Hanging up pictures (of animals or humans) is not allowed. We don't know anything wrong about hanging up verses of the Qur'an or Hadiths in the office as a reminder. And with Allah is the facilitation to do what is right.

FIRING AN EMPLOYEE WHO DOESN'T PRAY


Question:

Shoud I endeavor to fire a Muslims employee who works in my department but doesn't pray?


Answer:

It is incumbent upon you to advice him first, and perhaps Allah Almighty will guide him; if the advice has no‪ effect, fire him,because by not praying he has become a disbeliever, an apostate.

THE SISTER'S HUSBAND IS NOT A MAHRAM


Question:

Is it permissible for my sister to veil herself from her cousin, who is a Nasib for us, that is, that he will marry his daughter to my brother, bearing in mind that the marriage has not yet taken place. Advise us.


Answer:

Your sister must veil herself from her uncle's son, who is not her Mahram even if he is a Nasib, and even if he married his daughter to her brother. This is because the sister's husband is unrelated, as is the brother's father-in-law and others like them.

THE RULING ON MASTURBATION

 

 Question:

What is the ruling on Masturbation?

 

Answer:

It is incumbent upon every Muslim to avoid masturbation, because practicing it is in contradiction to the Words of Allah, the Almighty, the All-Powerful: And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts). Except from their wives or (the slaves) that their right hand possess, for then, they are free from blame, But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors.[1] - And due to the many harmful effects of masturbation. And Allah is the Granter of success. 1. Al-Mu'minun 5-6-7

A WOMEN MAY NOT TRAVEL EXCEPT WITH A MAHRAM


Question:

What is the ruling of Islamic Law on a female servant travelling without a Mahram. Is it her coming from her country without Mahram that is forbidden, or her presence in the house in which she is serving alone, without a Mahram?


Answer:

It is not permissible for a Women to travel without a Mahram, whether she is a servant or anything else, because the Prophet-Sallallahu alaihi wasallam- said: A woman may not travel without a Mahram.[1]


As for her presence in the house, she does not require a Mahram, but it is not allowed for a man is not related to her to be alone with her, because the Prophet- Sallallahu alaihi wasallam- said: A man may not be secluded with a women except with a Mahram.[2] And he-Sallallahu alaihi wasallam- said: A man should not be alone with a woman ,for verily Satan makes a third. [3] Narrated by Imam Ahmed with an authentic chain of narrators, on the authority of Umar, may Allah be pleased with him
