THE BELIEVER STRIKING A BALANCE BETWEEN EXCESSIVE SOCIALIZING AND TOTAL ISOLATION
Question:

The reality of the matter is that: mixing is at times obligatory or recommended. The individual may be commanded with mixing with the people on occasions yet on other occasions (commanded) with seclusion.

THE LEGISLATIVE WAY OF DEALING WITH TWO DISPUTING PARTIES
If there occurs between a teacher and a teacher – or a student and a student – or a teacher and a student some dispute and argument, then it is impermissible for anyone to aid either of them until he comes to know of the truth. So he does not aid him upon ignorance – nor with desires. Rather he looks into the affair, then if the truth becomes clear to him then he aids the one who is upon the truth from the two of them over the one who is upon futility.

THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE DISTINGUISHED ONES
Ibn Al-Qayyim said: I heard Shaikh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (May Allaah render his soul pure) say:
(The distinguished one does not see for himself over anyone else any right, nor does he bear witness upon other than himself with regards to his own excellence, for this reason he is not to be criticized, nor is he to be demanded from, and nor is he to be beaten.)

TOURNAMENTS AND PRIZES
Question:
These days we find that there are different kinds of tournaments. In some tournaments, every team pays a fee, which goes into a “pot,” and the winning team takes all that is in the “pot.” In other tournaments, all teams pay except for one, and again, the winning team gets all of the money, or at least most of the money, with the second and third place teams getting the rest.
And then there are sporting competitions, wherein the different competitors pay absolutely no fee, with an outside entity paying for the prizes that go to the winners and runner-ups. Which of these is permitted in Islaam?
THE RULING ON SAYING ''SHUKRAN'' TO THE ONE WHO RENDERED GOODNESS TO A PERSON
Question:
What is the ruling on saying "shukran" to the one who rendered goodness to a person?
Answer:
Whoever did that has abandoned that which is more superior, which is the saying, "JazaakAllaahu khayran" (may Allaah reward you with good). And in Allaah lies success.
